Breif Description of the Program
- Bali, often called the “Island of the Gods,” is Indonesia’s most famous tourist destination, known for its stunning beaches, lush rice terraces, volcanic mountains, and rich Hindu culture. It blends natural beauty with vibrant traditions, making it a paradise for adventure seekers and cultural explorers alike.
- Participate Information
- WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
- This expedition is open to YHAI members who are 15 years and older and physically fit. Participants below 15 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Programme schedule may change as per situation and members convenient.
- Arrival & Transfers
- Participants are required to report at Ngurah Rai International Airport, Denpasar, Bali on the designated reporting date. Airport pickup and transfers to the hotel will be provided at two slots preferred - 10.00 am and 03.00 pm (based on majority arrivals). Arrivals outside these timings must arrange their own transfer directly to the hotel.
- Accommodation & Meals
- Check in Time is 02.00 PM. (Early check-in subject to availability). Accommodation will be arranged at a 4-star property – Bliss Surfer Hotel, Kuta, Bali. Meals included in the programme are : Breakfast , One water bottle per day , Dinner (Preferably Indian Cuisines), One local lunch at Nusa Penida as per itinerary.

- Each participant should carry USD 150 - 200 from India for personal expenses, depends on person to person.
- Currency exchange available at hotel.
- Participants must retain receipts of exchange transactions for record and compliance.
- International (Master- Visa) Credit /Debit Cards are also accepted in some Hotels, Restaurants, and shops.
- It is advisable to carry small denominations for local purchases.
- SIM Card & Mobile Network Information
- Local SIM Cards: Recommended to purchase at Denpasar Airport upon arrival.
- Data Packages: Affordable prepaid 4G/5G packs available (USD 10 for 10 GB).
- International Roaming: Indian SIM cards (Airtel, Jio, Vodafone Idea) offer roaming packs, but these are costlier than local SIMs.
- Advisory: Keep your Indian SIM active for OTPs and emergency calls; use local SIM for data and communication during the trip.
Food Items & Snacks
- While breakfast and dinner are included daily, and one lunch is provided at Nusa Penida, participants should carry snacks for excursions where meal timings may be delayed.
- Carry dry packed light snacks such as biscuits, nuts, or namkeen for quick energy during sightseeing.
- If you have any dietary restrictions or special needs, carry suitable packaged food from India, as options in Bali may be limited.
- Always keep a refillable water bottle. RO water is available in hotel premises on every floor. Bottled water is recommended over tap water in Bali.
- Packaged and sealed food items are generally allowed in international travel. Avoid carrying fresh fruits, vegetables, or liquids beyond permitted limits.

Day-wise Schedule
DAY WISE SCHEDULE:
Guests will arrive at Bali Airport in the morning, where they will be warmly welcomed with a traditional garland. After meet and greet, a private transfer will take them to the 4★ Bliss Surfer Hotel in Kuta (or similar) for check-in. The rest of the day is free to relax and enjoy the resort facilities.
The day begins with an exciting water sports adventure including one round each of jet ski, banana boat, and parasailing. In the afternoon, participants will visit the famous Uluwatu Temple, offering breathtaking sunset views.
A full-day excursion to Nusa Penida’s west side awaits, covering Angel’s Billabong, Broken Beach, Kelingking Beach, and Crystal Bay. A local Balinese lunch will be served during the tour, making this day a perfect blend of adventure and scenic beauty.
Guests will enjoy a full-day tour to the cool highlands of Bedugul, followed by a visit to the iconic Tanah Lot Temple, one of Bali’s most photographed landmarks, especially stunning at sunset.
This day offers panoramic views of the Kintamani Volcano, a walk-through lush rice terraces, a visit to a waterfall and coffee plantation, and the thrill of the famous Bali Swing (single swing and nest). The day concludes with shopping and exploration at Ubud Market.
After breakfast at the hotel, guests will check out and be transferred privately to Bali Airport for their departure, carrying unforgettable memories of their Bali adventure.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Method
- Participants booked online must cancel online a minimum of 05 days prior to the reporting date.
- Participants booked offline must email trekking@yhaindia.org a minimum of 05 days prior to the reporting date.
- Requests received less than 05 days before the reporting date are not eligible for credit shell or refund.
Credit Shell
- 100% credit shell of the participation fee, valid till 31st December 2026, usable on any YHAI adventure programme.
- If the next programme is cheaper, the balance can be used on another trek; if costlier, pay the difference.
- Seats may be transferred to family or friends (transferred seats cannot be re-transferred or cancelled).
Refund
- Alternatively, participants may opt for a 50% refund instead of the 100% credit shell, subject to the same notice conditions.
Note: If a programme is cancelled due to natural calamity, government restriction or withdrawal of permission, YHAI is accountable only for the programme fee and not for other expenses incurred by participants.
