Sleep For Peace

Beyond Trails, Beyond Treks: YHAI's Journey of Giving Back

At the Youth Hostels Association of India (YHAI), our journey goes far beyond trekking trails and adventure camps. While we explore mountains, forests and rivers, we remain deeply committed to a larger purpose - serving society and contributing to the nation.

For us, true adventure lies not just in discovering new destinations, but in making a meaningful difference in people's lives. Our efforts are guided by a simple yet profound aspiration: that everyone we meet sleeps in peace.

Over the years, YHAI has stood firmly with the nation in times of need - responding to crises, supporting communities, and driving impactful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Each effort reflects our enduring values of compassion, service and collective responsibility.

Key CSR Initiatives

Strengthening Healthcare

Donated oxygen concentrators and essential medical equipment to government hospitals during critical times.

Standing with the Nation's Heroes

After the Pulwama attack, YHAI contributed ₹5 lakhs to the Bharat Ke Veer fund, supporting families of our brave soldiers.

COVID-19 Relief

Supported communities and government agencies by distributing masks, medicines and essential supplies.

Disaster Relief

Extended timely support during natural calamities, including the floods in Kashmir and Kerala.

Supporting Education

In flood-affected Leh, YHAI developed a library in a local school, ensuring continued access to education.

Health & Wellness

Mega Blood Donation Drives and participation in International Yoga Day promote physical and mental well-being.

Environmental Conservation & Cleanliness Drives

YHAI actively promotes sustainability through tree plantation and cleanliness campaigns. Special drives in trekking regions like Kedarkantha and Kashmir Great Lakes highlight our commitment to preserving nature while spreading awareness among trekkers.

At YHAI, social responsibility is not a one-time effort - it is a way of life. Because everyone deserves to sleep in peace.
