Setting a National Benchmark: Goa Govt Extends Unprecedented Support to YHAI
Aligned with the Union Budget 2026–27's emphasis on world-class, eco-friendly trekking trails, the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Goa, has taken an unprecedented step by formally partnering with YHAI's Goa State Branch to fully sponsor 100 participants for the National Himalayan Trekking-cum-Training Programme at Roli Kholi Pass - the first instance of a state government extending such comprehensive support to a YHAI trekking initiative. The collaboration was made possible through the leadership of Siddharth Kunkalienkar and the Goa State team.
Goa's Sponsored Team Successfully Completes Roli Kholi Pass Trek
The team of 120 participants sponsored by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Goa, successfully completed the National Himalayan Trekking-cum-Training Programme at Roli Kholi Pass - the fruition of a historic, first-of-its-kind partnership between a state government and YHAI.
YHAI Tamil Nadu Organises Sikkim Goechala Winter Expedition
The Tamil Nadu State Branch organised the Sikkim Goechala Trekking Winter Expedition from October 29 to November 10, with around 24 participants over 10 days. Mr. Rajagopal served as Camp Leader.
Puducherry State Branch - Women's Spiritual & Heritage Trip
A one-day spiritual and heritage trip was organised exclusively for women members on 22 November 2025, covering Ramana Ashram, Skandashram and Virupaksha Cave, Thiruvannamalai. More than 50 women members from various Puducherry units participated.

The Udupi Unit of Karnataka conducted a one-day trekking-cum-training programme to Pancharbi and Dana Gundi waterfalls near Mala, with 48 members - including children - participating energetically.
