The Youth Hostels Association of India is a registered, non-profit, non-political and secular voluntary organization. Its objectives, governance and operations are guided by its Memorandum of Association and Rules & Regulations.
Key Objectives
- To help all, especially the young, to a greater knowledge, love and care of the countryside - particularly by providing hostels or other simple accommodation for them in their travels.
- To promote their health, recreation and education.
- To develop a spirit of national integration and international understanding.
