Overview
Goa holds a place of pride on the international tourist circuit - miles of sunny beaches, well preserved churches, temples and forts, lush green forests, abundant wildlife, colourful festivals and superb cuisine. There is so much to see that you always feel there is too little time.
A visit to Goa is incomplete without North and South Goa sightseeing. Because December and January are peak season, campers usually find tour bookings hard to get, need two separate days for the North and South circuits, and pay a high price for them. Working with the Goa Tourism Development Corporation (a Government of Goa undertaking), YHAI has combined the North and South Goa tour into the programme, and its cost is already included in the fee. Participants pay separately only for the river cruise.
One family - husband, wife and two children below 12 years - occupies one tent per seat. Four batches run through the season, with ten families per batch.
