Overview
For 48 years the Youth Hostels Association of India has run National Himalayan trekking expeditions. This year the association adds a National Mountain Biking Expedition, riding the Kullu valley between Seobagh, Naggar and Manali.
The programme introduces members to mountain biking as an outdoor sport and as green transport - after swimming it is the second-best non-impact exercise there is - and carries the association's usual aim of national integration through adventure.
