To visit Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath , you must register for the Yatra e-Pass on the Tourist Care Portal :

🏞️ About Char Dham

Char Dham refers to four sacred sites

• 1️⃣ Yamunotri - Goddess Yamuna
• 2️⃣ Gangotri - Goddess Ganga
• 3️⃣ Kedarnath - Lord Shiva (Northernmost Jyotirlinga)
• 4️⃣ Badrinath - Lord Vishnu (where Vishnu meditated)

📝 Important Note

• Group will only depart if Minimum participants are more than 10 otherwise only 100% program fees will be refundable or you
• can utilize as a credit shell in any National Program organised by National Office
• Yatra e-Pass is compulsory for all pilgrims.
• Register on the Devasthanam board website and carry the e-pass during your journey.

How to Join Char Dham Yatra

• Register online at www.yhaindia.org & pay ₹28,000/-
• Payment options: Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card
• After payment, an Admit Card will be generated.
• Carry Admit Card , 2 passport-sized photos , & ID proof when reporting. 📑💳🆔

📝 How to Join the Char Dham Yatra

• Online Registration: Visit www.yhaindia.org and pay ₹28,000/-
• After payment, an Admit Card will be generated. Carry this along with:
• 2 passport-sized photos
• ID proof
• YHAI Membership is mandatory for all participants.

🔑 What to Bring Along

• Trekking shoes , Socks (4 pairs), Gloves (2 pairs)
• Trousers (lightweight, quick-dry), T-shirts , Woolens , Jacket
• Wind Cheater , Raincoat/Poncho , Sweater , Woolen cap
• Rucksack (small), Torch (with spare cells), Water bottle
• Plate, Lunch box , Spoon , Towel , Boroline/Vaseline
• Personal medicines (Crepe Bandage, Paracetamol, Azithromycin, etc.)
• Face mask, shield & sanitizer

🚨 Safety & Security

• Our staff ensures your safety, but YHAI is not liable for accidents or illnesses.
• Follow COVID-19 guidelines (mask, social distancing).

🚫 Important Notes

• No smoking, alcohol, or narcotics allowed.
• Vegetarian meals will be provided.
• Accommodation is in dormitories or shared rooms.
• Stay must be within YHAI accommodation for the program duration.
• Follow an environment-friendly approach – don’t litter.
• Burning wood and carrying non-biodegradable materials is prohibited.
• Separate accommodation for males & females.

📝 E-Pass

• Mandatory for all pilgrims
• Register at Char Dham e-Pass
• COVID-19 Medical Certificate required.
• Behavior: Maintain a friendly attitude. Misbehavior may result in removal from the program.

🧳 Important Guidelines for Char Dham Yatra

• Asymptomatic travelers don’t need a COVID-19 negative report, but symptomatic ones must get tested.
• E-pass is for Temple visit only . No sightseeing or trekking allowed.
• Follow COVID-19 advisories and maintain hygiene (sanitize, wash hands).
• Elderly (60+) & children (under 10) should avoid temple visits.

Cancellation Method

• Participants booked online must cancel online a minimum of 05 days prior to the reporting date.
• Participants booked offline must email trekking@yhaindia.org a minimum of 05 days prior to the reporting date.
• Requests received less than 05 days before the reporting date are not eligible for credit shell or refund.

Credit Shell

• 100% credit shell of the participation fee, valid till 31st December 2026, usable on any YHAI adventure programme.
• If the next programme is cheaper, the balance can be used on another trek; if costlier, pay the difference.
• Seats may be transferred to family or friends (transferred seats cannot be re-transferred or cancelled).

Refund

• Alternatively, participants may opt for a 50% refund instead of the 100% credit shell, subject to the same notice conditions.

Note: If a programme is cancelled due to natural calamity, government restriction or withdrawal of permission, YHAI is accountable only for the programme fee and not for other expenses incurred by participants.
