Overview

The Blackbuck State Level Educative Training cum Trekking Program is organised by YHAI's Krishnamrugha Unit at Ranebennur, Karnataka - a gateway to North Karnataka set beside the Ranebennur Blackbuck Sanctuary. The blackbuck is a rare species found in only two protected pockets in India: here at Ranebennur and in Rajasthan.

Over three nights and four days participants trek to Mallyana Betta, the Airani temple and Kadaramandalagi, visit the Blackbuck Sanctuary and Choudayyadanpur, and take a moonlight trek to Devaragudda - roughly 30 km of walking across the four days, with a base camp to return to each evening.

There is a single batch of 100 participants, registered first-come-first-served. The organisers may split it into two groups of 50 if required.
